Why Faith Matters More Than Ever as Families Continue to Struggle
Biden/Harris Administration responsible for extreme economic struggles nationwide
In the last four years, the Biden/Harris policies have contributed to economic struggles that are impacting families nationwide. From rising inflation to soaring costs on essentials like groceries and gas, Americans are facing an overwhelming financial burden.
As prices increase across the board, families find themselves stretching every dollar to cover basic needs, and many feel the effects of decisions made by leaders who seem out of touch with these everyday challenges.
Yet, in these trying times, we’re reminded that our ultimate hope is not in earthly leaders or government agendas, but in God’s enduring faithfulness and provision.
Faith in God is the Most Secure Foundation
Yet, despite the uncertain political climate, the Bible reminds us where to place our ultimate trust. While earthly systems and leaders come and go—and often make decisions that affect everyday citizens in lasting ways—our faith in God remains the most secure foundation.
Psalm 121 tells us, “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord.” In challenging times, this verse provides solace, reminding us that our ultimate hope is not in any administration or government plan, but in the God who watches over us.
In addition to putting our trust in God, we have a calling to be there for each other in practical ways. More people are now relying on food banks and community programs than ever before, and the role of the church has never been more crucial.
By supporting food drives, volunteering at shelters, or simply offering a helping hand to a neighbor, we become active participants in bringing God’s light to those who are struggling.
How Faith is a Call to Action
We must also lift our leaders in prayer, asking that they seek God’s guidance in their decisions and act with wisdom and compassion for all citizens. When we pray for those in power, we’re following a biblical directive to hope that God’s hand will influence them, guiding them to promote policies that alleviate the burdens of working families, not add to them.
Our faith is a call to action, a source of comfort, and a rallying point for hope. Though inflation and economic uncertainty continue to impact our lives, faith reminds us of a higher authority and a purpose beyond earthly matters.
God’s provision is unwavering, even when political systems falter, and His love for His people is eternal. Now, more than ever, our trust in God and support for one another will see us through.
Together, we can find resilience and peace that transcends the challenges we face in today’s economic and political landscape.
