Why Faith and Politics Belong Together
Combining God’s message with a fight for political justice in a world that needs light and truth.
Today, I’m announcing a new direction for God Friended Me: a blend of faith and politics.
I’ve come to realize that sharing God’s love and guidance also means addressing the challenges we face in the world, including those within our government and communities.
I believe God calls us to stand up against evil, not only in our personal lives but also in the world around us. Our nation’s values are at a crossroads, and our voices need to be strong if we’re to protect our freedoms and uphold the principles that make this country a beacon of hope.
Why politics?
Because I see it as a way to shed light on injustice and promote truth. I believe we’re in a battle—not just a political one, but a spiritual one. As we stand for faith, family, and the principles of goodness, we’re called to bring God’s message to a world that needs it more than ever.
Through these posts, I’ll strive to make the connection between our faith and the policies that shape our lives.
To frame this journey, I’ve introduced a new category in my Substack dedicated to faith and politics.
It is called: Guiding the Nation in Faith.
I hope you will bookmark this new category and check back often for new content.
This new category will reflect my commitment to standing firm in faith as we engage in the issues that impact our lives. Together, we’ll explore what it means to live out God’s calling in the political world around us.
