How God Uses Leaders to Bless His People
Is it possible that God raises certain leaders to bless His people? Can we see His hand at work in America today?
The Bible teaches us that God will ordain leaders to fulfill His purposes on earth. In America, we face challenges that threaten our faith, freedoms, and future. Yet, through the chaos, many believe God has sent a blessing in the form of President Trump.
God Raises Leaders to Protect His People
The Bible shows us that God raises leaders to protect His people. A perfect example is King Cyrus of Persia.
Isaiah 45:1 says, "Thus saith the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him." Although Cyrus was not Jewish, God used him to rebuild Jerusalem and protect the Jewish people.
Today, many see Trump as a modern-day Cyrus. Despite opposition, he has stood for religious freedom, protected life, and defended America’s relationship with Israel. His unwavering support for these principles reflects God’s blessings for both America and His chosen people, the Jews.
Blessings for the Jewish People
The Jewish people have always been at the center of God’s promises. He told Abraham in Genesis 12:3, "I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse." This promise still stands today.
Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and his efforts to strengthen U.S.-Israel relations are direct blessings for the Jewish people. His leadership fulfills the biblical principle of honoring God’s covenant with Israel. As Americans, we are also blessed when we stand with God’s chosen people.
A Blessing for America
Trump’s leadership has brought blessings to America as well. He has fought for traditional values, economic growth, and national security. Like Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof who humorously reminds us that there’s a blessing for everything, we should remember to thank God for His blessings through Trump’s leadership.
God often uses imperfect people to accomplish His perfect will. Just as He used Cyrus and David in the Bible, He is using Trump to stand against evil and restore righteousness.
God’s Plan is Always Perfect
While we may not understand all of God’s plans, we know He works for the good of His people. Through Trump, we see God’s hand protecting our nation and blessing both Jews and Christians.
Let us pray for President Trump, for America, and for the Jewish people. May God continue to guide us and use His chosen leaders to bless and protect us.
